We were contacted by a soft fruit packing company who supply the major supermarket chains. They have a number of packhouses and consulted us in regards to recoating one of the packhouse floors. The new floor was required to be hard wearing, easy to clean, waterproof, and to have a light anti-slip finish.

We abraded the floor with diamond floor grinders, primed the floor and infilled all the dips and cracks. Once this had hardened we coated the floor with our self smoothing resin system. In addition to this we added a top coat with light anti-slip properties to facilitate staff safety and ease of cleaning.

The job took three days to complete and the packhouse was able to be returned to service within 6 hours of the top coat being applied.
